What a pet sitter does.
Being a pet sitter, is a lot like being a baby sitter, the difference is that your sitting animals instead of kids. A pet sitter, will offer a number of different services to the pet's owner. My service offers, daily walks, pet shopping, for people too busy to go get what thier pets might need at a particular time, some snow shovelling, (like just a path in the walk.), and attention and love for thier pets, as well as any kind of moral support for the owners. I also will bring in the mail, wash any utensils, or clean any messes I may make. As well as take out the trash, especially if it is full of cat litter, or dog left overs, etc. I also bring in papers, and packages, and I will leave a tv on or a radio, as a noise distractor.(Not just for the pets either!) I also will take a pet to a veterinarian if needed, and sometimes I will take a pet for a hair cut or for thier annual check up if the owner can't do so themselves. Financially depending on where the pet sitter lives, and the type of clients he/she has they will make a living. My service does ok, I just spend more then I make. Which doesn't always work well.

My service charges .00 a visit.
Some pet sitters have a staff, I only have me. Some charge up to.00 a visit, Others still only charge .00 a visit. So that gives you an idea as to what a pet sitter does and how much they may charge.

I love being a pet sitter!
I eat, sleep, drink, and live pets! I have quite a managerie at home myself! I have dogs, cats, birds, and turtles. And although I do get a little overwhelmed at times I wouldn't trade this life for any thing! Like most people I am always complaining about something. But truthfully if I didn't do this I would be very miserable, and so would those I work with! So enough of this.
